This medium sized framed drawing was is part of a large series inspired by the expansive Jefferson Grid which stretched across the mid-west US landcape. I was lucky enough to see it from a plane window in September 2018 which led to the creation of this work on return to my studio. This series of approximately 30 drawings then led to the development of The Jefferson Grid Exhibition which was held at the Hume Global Learning Centre Gallery in Sunbury 19 Feb - 27 Mar, 2020. The drawings are surrounded by woven painted strips of paper that to created a grid like textural border. The work is framed in Tasmanian Oak with conservation matt board and Premium Acryllic glazing for safe shipping.
The dimension of the drawing is 24 cm x 16 cm and the framed size is 47 cm x 38.5 cm x 3.7 cm.
