A4 Gouache and Ink Drawing created during my Art Research Trip to Sydney in Nov 17. I started this at the airport and completed it on return to my studio. To me it seems to capture the impact of going to Tasmania to hike the Overland Track the week before, then travelling to Sydney the following weekend to research Australian History. Both parts of Australia played a significant role in our early colonial history which 'fenced out' the indigenous peoples of this land.
All proceeds donated to the Australian South Sea Islanders Association - Port Jackson.
