I am very excited to announce that my fourth solo exhibition 'Tassels and Fragments' will be held at Falkner Gallery, 35 Templeton Street, Castlemaine, Central Victoria from Thursday 19th March through to Saturday 19th May. The show includes gouache and ink drawings of silk tassels and fabric fragments of lace knitting. The opening 'Meet the Artist' event will be held on the Saturday after Easter, 7th April from 2-4pm. All 64 artworks will be for sale. If you are interested in purchasing my artwork at this exhibition you can attend in person or a catalogue will be available on the 19th March from 11am. Gallery opening hours are: Wed 1-5, Thurs - Sat 11-5, Sun by appointment (excluding Easter Sunday).
This gallery has been opened since 2002 and is run by Dale Falkner. It is situated in a stunning two-storey historical building and specialises in historical and contemporary fine art. Over the last ten years I have dreamed of exhibiting in this delightful space, so it is very meaningful to be exhibiting here at this point in my art career. I look forward to sharing this with you.
