Kaffe Fassett Workshop, Sunday 25th February 2018

It was an absolute delight to spend a day with UK Textile Designers Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably at 320 Create in Daylesford.  Run by Patch n Quilt in Gisborne, it was hands on day of selecting fabrics, cutting and placing them onto a design wall.  This was the first time I had tried quilt designing and I thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in the rich colours of their fabrics.  It was also a great pleasure to pass my love of Kaffe's colour sense on to my niece Millie who also attended the day.  I highly recommend going to a Kaffe Fassett lecture or workshop if you get a chance.  Well worth the investment from my perspective.
